WWW.Buxton Darts and Doms.com

all things darts and doms in and around Buxton.

There are still players not contacting their opponent and me if they are not attending. In the day and age of mobile telecommunications there's not really an excuse for it and it's beginning to piss folks off.

So, whilst it pains me to do it as it's supposed to be a jolly night out, I'm gonna have to start docking points!
From next week...
1st instance of no contact -1 point.
2nd instance of no contact -5 points
3rd instance of no contact elimination from the league and a 1 year ban! No refunds!
(Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration).

So if you're not attending and you're not sure if you've made contact I suggest getting on the old dog and bone. I'd sooner be told twice than not at all!

Remember to fill the score sheets in!!!!

Playing fixtures from future weeks is always welcome but fixtures from the week we're on must take priority!

I'm not aware of any problems last night but if there's any suggestions/grumbles gimme a shout.
As ever if you spot any errors, don't stress, just gimme a shout and I'll have a look see. I go a bit "number blind" after a bit so may have missed summat!

The big hitters...

Everyone should have picked up a fixture list and a contact list on the opening day, if you didn't please get 1 next time.

If you're in multiple leagues (or even if you're not) keep an eye on the running orders for each night. There's method in the madness (at least to start with) and games are scheduled to keep things running smoothish.
These will be on all dart boards, near the shuffle boards and a big list on the pool table.

For all the newbs there's plenty of veterans to look after you while you find your feet but any issues (for anyone) I'll be buzzing about so just gimme a shout, preferably not if I'm mid game though!

REMEMBER TO SORT YOUR WMC MEMBERSHIP OUT TONIGHT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY.

I think that's it.
Hope everyone enjoys it, bound to be some teething problems but remember the 1st rule of Friday Nights:
Don't Get Your Knickers in a Twist!!!

If you don't like the rules then don't play!
No crowing when it's all done and dusted, no one likes a sore loser!
